A truly unique and one-of-a-kind, multi-use textile. 

Raw silk/silk noil is bundled with eucalyptus, sumac leaves and berries, mint, sweet gum leaves, goldenrod, wild grasses, and quebracho rojo. It is then steamed for several hours to create a striking, permanent pattern on the cloth that is both modern and timeless. This piece was also overdyed with an old indigo recipe called Saxon Blue.

Raw silk has a lovely drape and texture---slightly nubby with a matte finish. It is both strong and light. This piece could be used in many ways; a sofa throw, travel blanket, tablecloth, beach/picnic blanket, etc.
