Hand-dyed, drafted and sewn women's crop tunic. Inspired by the many lakes I grew up around in Minnesota. Dyed naturally with cochineal, painted with soy wax in the traditional Indonesian tradition of batik and then over-dyed in an organic indigo fructose vat resulting in a lovely pale periwinkle blue.

The cochineal is from a 5 family farm in Peru. I make an organic indigo vat that is reduced with fructose, or henna, and is completely chemical free.
