Hand-dyed, drafted and sewn women's crop tunic. Inspired by the many lakes I grew up around in Minnesota, especially White Bear Lake at dusk. Dyed naturally with cochineal, painted with soy wax in the traditional Indonesian tradition of batik and then over-dyed in an organic indigo fructose vat.

The cochineal is from a 5 family farm in Peru.

Linen/cotton blend. Tissue weight linen.

*Due to the nature of hand-dyeing and painting, the batik markings may be slightly different than what is pictured, but will overall be the same pattern. This makes each piece truly special as no two are exactly alike!
